Electronic Thermometer

Electronic Thermometer
Electrical drive and control
| Application Introduction
Electronic thermometers must measure a patient's body temperature (e.g., orally, under the arm) quickly and accurately. Fluctuations in ambient temperature may affect measurement results, particularly in low- or high-temperature environments where dynamic compensation is required.
As the core temperature sensing unit, the temperature sensor rapidly responds to changes in body temperature and delivers high-precision data.

Chip Resistor
A thermopile measures the temperature difference between the target object and the sensor itself. Inside an infrared forehead thermometer, an NTC sensor is used to measure the temperature of the thermopile (ambient temperature) in real time. This data is then processed through an algorithm for compensation and calibration, ultimately calculating the true temperature of the target surface.

Epoxy resin type temperature sensor
The metal probe tip of a contact electronic thermometer utilizes a small epoxy-encapsulated temperature sensor, enabling rapid response to temperature changes. Within the body temperature range (approximately 35°C-42°C), its resistance exhibits significant variation, allowing the measurement system to quickly capture minute temperature fluctuations.
