Product Introduction

 

       The professional surge protection varistor acts as a "voltage safety valve" for circuit systems. Using zinc oxide as its core material, it rapidly responds to transient overvoltage threats caused by lightning strikes and power grid fluctuations. Its operation is highly intelligent: when the circuit voltage remains below the threshold (varistor voltage), it exhibits high resistance (up to megaohm level) with only microampere-level leakage current, ensuring normal equipment operation. Once the voltage exceeds the limit, its resistance instantly drops to ohm level, responding within nanoseconds to divert surge currents and clamp the voltage to a safe range. After the surge subsides, it automatically returns to its high-resistance state.
