Thermal Fuse

Thermal Link

Product Introduction

The alloy-type thermal fuse is a one-time operation, non-resettable device designed for overtemperature protection in electrical equipment. It primarily consists of a low-melting-point fusible alloy, flux agent, plastic or ceramic housing, sealing resin, and lead wires. Under normal operating conditions, the fusible alloy maintains electrical connection between the two lead wires. When the thermal fuse detects abnormal heating and reaches the predetermined actuation temperature, the fusible alloy melts and rapidly retracts toward both ends of the leads under the action of the flux agent, thereby breaking the circuit.
