SENSOR_CNSE Series / SENSOR_CNSA Series

Epoxy resin encapsulation structure

Electrical terminal structure

The MPPT algorithm of an inverter requires accurate module temperature data to compensate for the impact of temperature on power generation efficiency, so as to more precisely find and lock the maximum power point and improve power output. Typically, epoxy-type or electrical terminal-type products are attached to heat-generating components.

The thermal management of energy storage BMS involves temperature sensors densely arranged inside the battery to monitor the temperature of the battery cells or modules. Generally, various forms of temperature sensing are used, such as patch type for FPC soft boards, epoxy type for attaching to battery surfaces, or electrical terminal type for ultrasonic welding at battery cells.

SENSOR_CNSA Series

Electrical terminal structure

The temperature detection and protection of IGBT and rectifier units in inverters, as well as the installation of electrical terminal type temperature sensors around heat sinks or power devices, are used to monitor their temperature in real time, thereby reducing or limiting output current to reduce heat generation.

SENSOR_CNSF Series / PTFE-Type

Metal head temperature sensor

Teflon temperature sensor

The monitoring of wind energy transformers requires temperature sensors to monitor the temperature of the windings, control the cooling system, and ensure the safe connection of the power grid, whether it is the generated voltage in the cabin or the main transformer. Generally, metal head temperature sensing or PTFE temperature sensing is used for detection and control.

Over-current protection

NTC Power Thermistor

PTC Power Thermisto

In the solar or wind power sector, the DC-link capacitor inside the inverter acts as a short circuit the moment power is switched on, generating a very high inrush current. If left unrestricted, this current can damage the rectifier bridge and the DC-link capacitor, and blow the fuse. Therefore, a power-type NTC or PTC thermistor must be connected in series within the main input circuit of the DC bus to suppress the inrush current.

Over-voltage protection

TLMOV thermal protection type varistor

MOV professional lightning protection varistor

Inverters, especially those operating outdoors in solar and wind power systems, are highly susceptible to direct lightning strikes or induced surges from distant strikes. These events can introduce extremely high voltages from the grid or power lines, damaging other components in the circuit. Therefore, varistors must be connected in parallel across the lines requiring protection (e.g., the DC bus, AC output side, or to ground) to prevent lightning-induced damage to the circuit.
