| Application Introduction
The core of an electric vehicle is the battery, which provides power for the vehicle. The safety and endurance of batteries are key technologies, and NTC thermistors have fast response and are suitable for measuring battery temperature. Varistors are usually connected in parallel between the live and neutral wires of the AC input, as well as between them and the ground wire, to absorb these external transient overvoltages and prevent damage to important components such as rectifier bridges, PFC circuits, and switching devices.
Temperature Sensing Methods :
Direct Sensing : NTCs mounted on cell surfaces or internal interconnect boards measure cell or board temperature directly.
Indirect Sensing : NTCs placed on module endplates or cover surfaces measure cell and module temperature indirectly.
Function : Ensures cells operate within an optimal range (typically 10°C–40°C), prevents overheating from overcharge/discharge, balances temperature across cells, and triggers alarms or cuts power during abnormalities.

Epoxy resin encapsulation structure
Sensors (typically NTCs) attached directly to cell surfaces or sides for real-time monitoring—the first defense against thermal runaway.

Electrical terminal structure
In a module composed of multiple battery cells, multiple sensors will be arranged to monitor the temperature distribution of the module. Generally, this type of product is welded to the electrode of the battery cell using ultrasonic waves to detect the temperature of the battery cell.


Chip Resistor
This type is generally soldered onto FPC soft boards, using the soft board end in contact with the battery cell to detect temperature.
